My Dad Philip Austin was the manager of the club then, I remember him saying that she was a really lovely lady.  I think she died just weeks after appearing therd.

I was waiting to catch a bus outside the Gaiety and she walked out onto Market St with a couple of guys and stood fot less than a minute waiting for her car which had been parked behind the Wheatsheaf next door. She was magic,glamourous doesn't do her credit. I think she was holding a little dog? Anyway made my evening that did.
