A bit late to this, but does anyone have memories of seeing local band Romany Rye play, or can provide more information on the time Free played at the College? Doing research for a book.

Thanks
Neil

Watching the Elton John programme, remember seeing him at Stockport College early seventies, queuing up outside when he got out of his car and walked passed us. Saw Free, Family, and Rory Gallagher(Taste as they were called at the time) Purple Gang were ex art students from the college. Good times.
