Turners Ballroom (Rochdale)

I'm surprised that Turners Ballroom in Rochdale isn't included, considering it was a regular Saturday night gig for many of Manchester's groups during the mid to late sixties. In fact the place attracted kids from all around the area. Having played there many times myself I can tell you the place was always full.

I used to go every Friday and Sunday evenings with my friends.  Brilliant atmosphere and they often had live bands on a Sunday.
Wonderful memories of the place.
