Got chucked out of here with a mate by two bouncers who were quite violent. It REALLY was a case of mistaken identity.
Nevertheless this was the best place to go dancing...great music and a great place to meet up with folks.
I even won a contest here and a modelling opportunity. Almost took it until the agent made a play for me...!!!

Used to go  in early to mid seventies, there was a band called Sunshine Cake, did a cover of "Alright Now" originally released by Free. Any ideas what became of them?

Does anyone remember a bouncer with one of those mexican rashes? Dark shoulder length hair...I think he was lead bouncer? I danced lots with a beautiful lady but he beat her up really bad in the arcade and tried to get me in the cleaning area next to the pay area entrance,... fortunately I got away..I was 16 with my brother's clothes on to look older....I never went again....happy days till then, Mark
