Use to go there with my brother and his mates I was 17 it was the sixties .Live entertainment at its best.Fond memories afterwards we use go to the Plaza cafe for a chicken biryani laced with curry sauce, the place use to be packed it was so cheap and so was the place but we didn’t care not after a few drinks.

Looks like the only band to play at Oceans eleven was the Bonzo dog doo dah band who were fantastic. That’s untrue of course ,spent many a good night in there ,afterwards we would go for the best biryani in Manchester (or was that the beer talking) the Plaza cafe 100 yds from the place.
