Hi Alan, thanks for getting back to me.
I was at the Swinging Sporran's closing party. I was just trying to put a year to the memory (1982?)

Not sure John as I moved to North Wales in May 1973 and as I can recall it was still Barbarella's, but I could be wrong

DJ'd there in and around 72/73 after 'Chunky' the legendary original DJ moved on to pastures new. Remember the DJ booth was a sputnik shaped and accessed from a ladder which used to be lifted up away from customers access. It later was moved to another part of the club around 1972. I remember booking reggae singer Nicky Thomas for an appearance there. Always had a great turnout from the Little Hilton soul crew. Anyone remember the husband and wife management couple.
