The Foundation was a band I started about 64/65 my bro Dave was the lead guitarist who was one of the founder members of 10cc. hH had just left that band consisting of my bro David Solomon lead guitar , Niel Levine on guitar, Harvey Rose on bass, Kev Godley on drums and Lol Cream on guitar, Harvey Starr vocals, I will forward a pic of this band they were called The Sabres, I think you mention them somewhere in Manchester beat.
They used to rehearse at the Jewish Lads Brigade on Middleton road m8 in the music room across the hall in that building were the Whirlwinds with of course Graham Gouldman and later morphed into 10cc.

YES. DAVE SOLOMON. GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN. A REALLY GREAT GUITARIST. I REMEMBER WELL WHEN WE WERE IN PROUD PAWS.
HE PLAYED LEFT HANDED BUT LATER I HEARD HE LEARNED TO PLAY RIGHT HANDED AFTER AN ACCIDENT OR ILLNESS.
I WAS ONLY REMINSCING ABOUT DAVE AND MARK THIS AFTERNOON WITH JOE WHO WAS ALSO IN PROUD PAWS.
I HAVE LOST TOUCH WITH MARK OVER THE YEARS BUT HE HAD A GREAT STORY TO TELL ABOUT A DEMO DISC THAT SOMEONE GAVE HIM OF THE FOUNDATION THAT TURNED UP IN A SHOP IN CLITHEROE AFTER ABOUT 50 YEARS. BOTH VERY TALLENTED GUYS. CRAZY DAYS BUT GOOD MEMORIES.
COLIN. DRUMMER . PROUD PAWS.
