The Petals

Line-up

• John Featherstone - guitar

Before we became The Chuckles, we were The Petals. The pictures were taken at Lacey Green Church Hall, Wilmslow, in Cheshire, I think? Sadly, it burnt down in about 2001 - there are flats built on that site now.

I'd like to say hi to Dave Kay, I played along with him in a band called The Deltones somewhere in the mid sixties. He recently had a recording sent to him from Kieron Connell, the lead guitar player of that group. I was the lead singer on that recording. It was recorded on a reel to reel tape recorder and has survived all these years. Amazing!
