Chapter 5 (Barrow in Furness)

8-piece Barrow-in-Furness, Lancashire band Chapter Five (formed in 1964) and had members ranging from 16 to 26.

The band grew out of 5-piece Barrow-in-Furness band Bob Atkinson and the Vikings (formed in 1962). On bass was Glenn Cornick (b. 1947), the most famous member of this band who ended up in Jethro Tull. Bob Atkinson was lead vocalist in both bands as was organist Dave McGerty (b. 1944). Atkinson was replaced by Clint Reno (John Ritson) (b. 1946).
