Sorry to read that. Lloyd was from Tottenham and I met him in 1964 at MUniv. His parents came from Jamaica on a London Transport assisted passage and  Dad worked on the Underground. Lloyd was a gentle soul with a great, understated sense of humour. He rowed me around the Platt Fields boating lake several times.

It is with much sadness that I post the passing of Lloyd Stephenson ( big L ) on June 14 2019 after a long illness .....

Big L was another DJ at Ray's Place student nights where most of Manchester students dined on free burgers and chips.
